Mrs Thorpe is a digital financial service expert with over a decade’s experience in the microfinance sub-sector in Nigeria. Her work with the leading microfinance bank in Sub-Saharan Africa – LAPO Microfinance Bank Limited (LAPO MfB) birthed the Alternative Delivery Channels Group focused on developing electronic channels for product and service delivery to clients.

She currently leads the Corporate Planning team at LAPO MfB with an increased focus on creating winning strategies for continuous impact and sustainability empowered by digitization.

Mrs Thorpe holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology & Networking from Middlesex University, London, United Kingdom and a Master’s degree in Computer Networks from the University of Essex.

She is a certified Microfinance banker (MCIB) and an alumnus of the Lagos Business School, Nigeria.

She also serves on the Board of several Companies in  health, technology and insurance sectors.
