Mr Etopidiok is fondly referred to as a conscientious leader. He had a distinguished career in
the banking and financial sector regulation. For over two decades, he contributed
immensely to the stability of the financial sector at the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation
where he rose to the position of Director, Special Insured Institutions Department . He was at
various times, executive director in a number of commercial and merchant banks.
He holds a first degree in Banking and Finance and MBA from the Universities of Calabar
and Lagos respectively.
He has participated in a number of capacity enhancing programmes with focus on banking
regulations, deposit insurance and Islamic finance.
Mr Etopidiok is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers; Association of Enterprise
Risk Management and Nigerian Institute of Management.
He is currently the Managing Partner, Theos Integrated Consult Limited ;and author of a
best-selling book: Leading in an Unkown World”
